Seminar on Sunday, Dec. 3, at noon after the service – Dr. Mary-Wynne Ashford, a member of the Vancouver Island Peace and Disarmament Group, will talk about and ask people to sign the Treaty to Prohibit Nuclear Weapons, even though our own federal government won’t sign it! It isn’t a petition – it’s a statement of the will of ordinary citizens.

“The danger has never been so great that two leaders might cause a nuclear war deliberately, accidentally, or inadvertently,” says Dr. Ashford. “The consequences would be horrific, not just for the Korean people but for the world.”
