 5:00 p.m.  – Reverend Melora Lynngood – Celebrate the holiday season by reflecting on the story of Jesus’s birth and the ways in which we can hear this ancient story anew each December. This service is for all ages. The service includes lots of carols and the traditional candle lighting during “Silent Night.” By donation to Out of the Rain Youth Shelter and the Dandelion Society. Please bring new or gently used coats, sweaters and shoes, adult bus tickets, $5 Tim Horton’s or McDonald’s or Value Village gift cards, movie passes, knapsacks, travel-size toothpaste/toothbrushes, soaps, deodorants and shampoo, feminine hygiene items, condoms, and new or gently used sleeping bags.
8:00 p.m. – Reverend Shana Lynngood – In this Christmas Eve service we enjoy the music of the season, Scripture, and silence. Does this timeless story speak to us this year? Can we still find some magic in story of a baby born long ago heralding “peace on earth, goodwill to all”? By donation to Out of the Rain Youth Shelter and the Dandelion Society.
