Join the Location Task Force workshop on Saturday, May 11, from 1 pm to 3 pm in the Sanctuary and help design a project, such as set up satellite services and other programs in neighbourhoods, establish transportation methods, take direct social action, and improve outdoor space and use.
The March, 2019, congregational survey identified concerns about ease of access, our lack of direct social action from our building and a perceived under-utilization of our property.
In response to these issues, the Location Task Force is offering the workshop on Saturday, May 11, from 1 pm to 3 pm in the Sanctuary to select and design a group of pilot projects to alleviate these impediments. The objectives of the pilot projects will be:
to further the aim of increasing ease of access to church services and programs,
to improve current use of our facilities, and
to increase our ability to perform direct social action.
More than 228 respondents took part in the survey. Results of the survey, with the answers to 23 questions, may be viewed here.
The Location Task Force is looking ways to increase accessibility to all our church services and programs.
