We are a welcoming community, energized by the diversity of beliefs, identity, and experience that each person brings guided by our Seven Principles. We encourage our children’s curiosity and nurture their open and loving nature.

We gather every Sunday on Zoom at 10:30am to explore sacred mysteries, to sing of our longings and our blessings, to be still and listen. Join us online at 10:15 a.m. Send an email after 9 a.m. Sunday to obtain the entry code. Our services are led by Reverends Shana and Melora Lynngood.

Take part in our children and youth programs.

Our Mission

Strengthened in spiritual growth, supported in community, energized by diversity, we strive to transform ourselves and our world through compassionate action.

We are often able to facilitate ride-sharing by car – please phone the office at 250-744-2665 by Wednesday morning if you would like a ride.

Join us for one of our bi-monthly Community Dinners. Everyone is invited. We gather every second month in a family-friendly setting on the second Friday from September to June. Join a Neighbourhood Group in your area and get to know others in the congregation who live close to you.

You are welcome to visit our virtual ‘candle lighting room.’ Take a moment to pause, breathe deeply, and hold gently whatever is in your heart. Or come to the church and experience walking our labyrinth the ancient symbol which relates to wholeness. It combines the imagery of the circle and the spiral in a meandering by purposeful path, representing a journey to our own centre and back out into the world.

We are Unitarian Universalists – and you may be too! Read more about the principles and ethos that guide us. Curious about what religion (if any) you practice…or ought to consider practicing? Here’s an online quiz.

Are my beliefs welcome?

By welcoming people who identify with Theism, Atheism and Agnosticism, Buddhism, Christianity, Humanism, Judaism, Earth-Centred Traditions, Hinduism, Islam, and more, we are embodying a vision “beyond belief:” a vision of peace, love, and understanding.

Has religion become a bad word? Read Reverend Shana Lynngood’s views in this Victoria Times-Colonist article.

In another article, Reverend Shana Lynngood writes: “We all want to live lives that we believe in.  We all want to live in such a way that when our last day arrives we will feel good about who we have been and how we have lived.” Read more  here.
