Accessibility

Accessible parking spaces are located at the main entrance (east side of the building), and on the paved lot at the building’s north side and at the entrance to the office. For convenience, the building’s main entrance should be used by BC Transit’s handyDART — book your trip here.

The main floor of our building containing the Sanctuary and the social hall is accessible for those who use wheelchairs and for those with limited mobility. The office is also wheelchair accessible.

One washroom adjacent to the Sanctuary is wheelchair accessible and also contains a baby diaper changing-table. Two family bathrooms are also located beside the social meeting room, Lion Hall (close to the Sanctuary).

Large print copies of Sunday service hymns are available from ushers at all entrances to the Sanctuary before the Sunday service. On occasion words to the hymns are also projected.

A loop system is available for those requiring hearing assistive devices. You may obtain a headset that uses “FM loop” technology by asking an usher.

Sunday services are live-streamed and also archived for later viewing on your cellphone, tablet or computer. See info about privacy expections.

We welcome service animals to all church activities.

We provide pastoral care to all members regardless of ability. We encourage a scent-free environment.

If you would like your child to participate in the religious education program and feel that they may require any accommodations  please email Anna Isaacs, our Director of Spiritual Exploration and Learning for Children and Youth, so the best possible arrangements may be made.

Defibrillator (AED)

The Church has an automated external defibrillator (AED) located in the foyer just outside the double doors to the Sanctuary (4 minute training video).
