Change and Loss
Rev. Shana, Homilist
Ian Warrender, Worship Associate
One of the spiritual questions that surfaces continually as we age is how we will cope with grief and loss. As we face both the grief of losing people we love, and the other types of loss that confront us—mobility, health, or shifting circumstances of well being—we seek resilience and spiritual insight. This morning we’ll explore together how we hold the realities of living and loving and losing.
Music: Chalice Choir
Board Member on Duty: Jim Hemstock
IMPORTANT NOTE:
There will be a Fire Drill in the later part of the service on Sunday June 7th. Upon hearing the Fire Alarm, people in attendance are asked to leave the Sanctuary via the Sanctuary double doors, travel to the Lion’s Hall and exit to the right through the double doors to the grassy area near the stumps and Willows.
For people with mobility issues and those needing assistance, please wait until the others have left the Sanctuary and the Welcome Team members will help you exit via the North Sanctuary Door where you will meet at the gravel parking lot near the Farmhouse.
Thank you for keeping each other safe!
