Living Our Faith Out Loud

Rev. Shawn Gauthier, Homilist with

Ian Warrender, Worship Associate

This Sunday is a “pulpit swap”, Rev. Shana will be in Vancouver preaching for the Vancouver Unitarians, while their congregation’s minister, Rev. Shawn Gauthier is leading our service.

As Unitarian Universalists, we often take pride in our aversion to proselytizing. But why is that? And is our aversion something to actually be proud of?

Rev. Shawn Gauthier, from First Unitarian in Toronto, will explore what it means to share the good news of Unitarian Universalism. In his reflection, he’ll be speaking about why it’s important that we live our faith out loud, especially in these complicated times.

Rev. Shawn Gauthier is the Vancouver Unitarians Settled Minister. He began his undergraduate studies in the Conservatory of Music at Oberlin College, eventually completed a bachelor degree in religious studies at Harvard’s Extension School, and later received a Master of Divinity from Harvard Divinity School. Previously, Rev. Shawn served as the Minister at Toronto First Unitarian for 16 years.

And it’s Spirited Jazz, 7:15pm.
