When UU Community members Kent and Lesley won the ‘sermon on a topic of your choice’ from Rev. Melora at last year’s auction, they decided to challenge our resident Eeyore-of-a-minister with this topic. There is something to be said for looking at grim reality, puzzling over life’s complexities and challenges in an effort to make the world a better place. But what about Joy? What about living with a light heart? Might that also have a role in healing our broken world and our own dispirited souls?
