Spirited Jazz: A Magical Christmas Prelude
Spirited Jazz presents a mystical, magical, musical prelude to Christmas with an evening designed to delight and ignite the imagination of all generations (kids “from 1 to 92,” as the song goes).
The concert will feature the Dave Paulson Trio and a Pop-Up Youth Choir made up of UU kids and students from Taber Music School. The musical evening will explore a mix of jazzy Christmas classics and contemporary selections.
The story at the heart of the concert follows a group of friends trying to persuade one of their friends to put down their screen and reconnect with the people around them, discovering the magic of Christmas along the way. The promise is a fun, engaging musical evening that brings together different generations and reminds us of the joy of being present with one another.
Hosted by our Reverend of Jazz, Shana Lynngood. All are welcome. Admission by donation. All your donations go to the musicians and are very much appreciated.
