Patricia (Patty) Lane has been a lawyer/mediator/justice advocate and activist for more than 40 years. She has worked across the country on issues ranging from Indigenous treaty negotiations and economic development, tax, health
care and environmental policy and with high conflict families.
She helped found Leadnow.ca and Greater Victoria Acting Together. Patty teaches effective climate communication and writes a weekly column for Canada’s National Observer lifting up young people (and some elders including some in this congregation) who are having an impact on the climate justice crisis.
