Karla Thomson, a long-time member of this congregation, will share ways to understand and cope with 
some of the challenges dementia presents. “Don’t be afraid of the word dementia,” Karla tells us, “I will try to help you understand it in a different way.” Karla and Jim joined the Unitarian Universalist Community of Victoria in 2004, when they moved here from Quadra Island.
