Blunders and Grace

Reverend Melora Lynngood – As Unitarian Universalists, we welcome people of all kinds, for we know that our community is enriched by human difference. However, despite our best intentions, we sometimes repel the very diversity we seek, making blunders grounded in our own limited cultural perspective (see January 12 sermon). How can we expand our inter-cultural awareness and improve our skills for extending the warm welcome we wish to extend? This is Part III of a three-part series on “Living with Compassion across Diversity.”

Everyone is invited to stay for after-service conversations, a chance to share personal reflections on the service topic in small groups. 12:00 – 1:00pm
