International Solidarity

In keeping with our Sixth Principle of the goal of world community with peace, liberty and justice for all, FUCV focuses our international efforts through two projects, Child Haven International and the Zoie Gardner Overseas Fund.

The Child Haven International team conducts events to support Child Haven International, a charity founded in 1985 inspired by the ideals and philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi. Child Haven assists children and women in developing countries, who are in need of food, education, health care, shelter and clothing, emotional and moral support. The Zoie Gardner Overseas Fund is an individual private charity run by the church for a small operating fee which allocates funding to promote the education of young females overseas. Contact June Fukushima at june.fukushima@gmail.com.
