Dormant Feeling

Dormant Feeling —

Rev. Shana Lynngood, Homilist with

Jana Kotaska, Worship Associate —

As we continue to explore the gift of mystery, we’ll do so by thinking about what the winter season has to offer us.

I was moved many years ago when I heard Quaker educator and spiritual teacher Parker Palmer say that the spiritual question of winter is, “What is dormant in you that, with some tending and care now, might bear fruit in the Spring?” It shifted my sense of winter.

This Sunday we’ll explore what might be beneath the surface of our lives that could come forth with some reflection, attention, and intention these winter months.
