10: 30 a.m. – Reverend Shana Lynngood –

As we continue our exploration of yearning we examine what it means to be one who actively seeks (and sometimes finds) direct connection with the Holy. When we hear the word mystic we often think of ancient sages of many traditions – Rumi, Teresa of Avila, Buddha – who speak with shocking clarity about connecting with Spirit or God. What does mysticism look like in the 21st century? Has it changed? Is communion with the Holy still worth seeking? Can we do so regardless of our theological perspective? Worship Associate: Penelope Hagan
