In an old Peanuts cartoon Linus asks Charlie Brown if he wants to be happy in life. “Oh No! I just don’t want to be unhappy!” We have a lot of expectations placed on us in a culture that promises/demands happiness all the time. But maybe that’s not so healthy.
Brian Kiely has been a Unitarian minister in Canada for 35 years including 22 serving the Unitarian Church of Edmonton. He is a former president of the CUC and the ICUU. He is sort of retired…and about to start his second year working with Kelowna Unitarians.
