On the Streets Where You Live

Rev. Allen Tysick  – This faith community has an impressive record of assisting the poor. But who are these people? What are they thinking? Rev. Allen Tysick, who last year retired as executive director of Our Place, is now on our downtown streets daily, helping the addicted, the mentally ill, the utterly depressed. These people are what he calls “my family.” Supporting Allen is our second HOW project this year. But these are mystery people to most of us.
