Phases of the Moon: The Multiplicity of Gender –

Casey Stainsby & Luna Harlow, homilists –

Casey Stainsby, worship associate –

How do you express your gender? Is it consistent or does it vary from time to time? Where do gender expression and spirituality meet? Luna Harlow is here to tell their story of gender fluidity in relation to the phases of the moon. Join us for a playful exploration of gender, using some familiar and some unusual mediums. This is our annual LGBTQ+ Pride service and an intergenerational service!

Bio: Luna Melody (they/she) is an artist and trauma researcher based in East Vancouver, the stolen land of the Squamish and Tseil-Waututh peoples. They love RuPaul’s drag race and brewing kombucha at home. Luna is most often found in the company of their pet bird, Boujie. Together, they are little lights in the darkness.
