Play, Growth, and Transition

Faye Mogensen and Reverend Melora Lynngood – Play has a way of opening us up to growth, learning and new connections. It also empowers us to walk through life’s transitions with open-hearted strength. During this month’s theme – Play the Practice of Having Fun – we celebrate the joyful transitions in our lives, welcoming new members as well as lifting up what the children and youth have learned this year through playful means. We will also make room for holding those transitions that are difficult, even painful. This is an intergenerational service. Children and youth are welcome in the sanctuary for the entire service. Child-minding will be available in the Dragonfly Room for our youngest and/or most restless youngsters. Worship Associate: Jane Wilson
