Rev. Shana Lynngood with Worship Associate Mollie Twidale –
Our annual Homecoming Sunday, the first Sunday after Labour Day when we officially kick off a new church year, we find ourselves returning in ways both familiar and strange.
Covid is not yet in the rear-view mirror and all the change it has wrought still has us reflecting deeply on what matters, what we’ve lost, and perhaps even what we learned or gained from this time.
This welcome will include a time for lamentation — sharing our sense of loss and sadness — as well as a time to lift up our hopes and sense of possibility for what comes next.
