Sing about It!-

Dick Jackson, Cathy Baker, Samara Jade-

Fran Pardee, worship associate-

It’s time for a whole lot of singing (with the congregation in masks for COVID safety)! Join us for a music-filled all-ages service with lots of songs and a few stories in between. This will come at the end of a weekend family camp, and a week of day camps at the church — a great time to sing with us, or listen wholeheartedly, to songs of friendship, songs of the earth, songs of joy!

Samara Jade is a modern troubadour with a style some call “philosofolk”. Born in the Hudson Valley of New York state, and shaped by the mountains and rivers of North Carolina and the Olympic Peninsula of Washington state, Samara Jade’s music is a continually flowing wellspring of place-based and story-ridden melodious odysseys. Samara will join with her friends Cathy Baker and Dick Jackson, who lead music at Capital UU, our sister congregation downtown, and the Gettin’ Higher Choir. They are carrying on the message that all voices can sing!
