Rev. Melora Lynngood – How far do we have to go to care for our kin? Many among us know the often difficult journey of the caretaker, whether one has been the primary caretaker of a child, a parent, a spouse, or some other relative.
Perhaps you know how hard it can be to provide your loved one with the excellent care you wish to give them while still maintaining your own health and sanity. Lean too much to one side and you’re exhausted. Lean too much to the other and you feel guilty. How does one walk this line with grace? In what ways might such a journey present us with spiritual challenges and/or lead to spiritual growth?
